Uninor India has launched a new campaign all across India targetting the young customers. Uninor GSM service will be available through 1,000 distributors and 300,000 points of sale in place across India. Uninor mobile is providing the seamless GSM Mobile connectivity through 12,000 base stations in 7 telecom circles.
Norwegian telecom firm Telenor became the 12th operator in the Indian market it has launched its operations on Thursday 3rd November 2009, a company statement said.
Intense competition has been a hallmark of the telecommunications industry in the world’s second-most populous country, where it is driving drastic cuts in call charges.
